I have been in the field of education now for more than 50 years and I feel highly elated at times to see the good fruits on the trees. I planted in the past after great labour and struggle. This is true in regard to autonomy for Ewing Christian College as well as development of Ewing Christian School.

The idea for starting an English-medium school in the campus of vacant Rhea hostel building was implanted in my mind by my wife way back in 1991,

Important Landmarks in the history of School

The Diocesan Education Board (C.N.I) under the Chairmanship of the (Late)Bishop A.R. Yusuf accepted the proposal of Dr. S.D. Chand, Principal Ewing Christian College to start and English-medium primary school from the academic year 1992-93 in the vacant building of the Rhea hostel as a branch of Bishop Johnson School & College.

1992 (JUNE)

Registration of children in preparatory class and I stated at Bishop Johnson School from July 1992. 41 children were admitted.

1992 (July)

School started in 3 renovated rooms of the Rhea hostel building.

Aim and Objectives

The objective for which the Christian youth and others irrespective of religion, caste or creed by imparting knowledge, building of character and inculcation of moral and spiritual values and , the knowledge of GOD as revealed in JESUS CHRIST.

To develop skills and competence among the students and others for enhancing their efficiency, quality and output.

To complement the efforts of the Nation in promotion of sprit of good will and tolerance, mutual understanding, co-operation, friendship and harmony among the students and others for making them better human beings, responsible and productive citizens of India.
